This policy explains what information BDR HOUND.AI (“BDR HOUND.AI”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website and our service, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, email Anna.Aufseeser@BDRHound.ai.

The short version

  • We collect what you give us when you ask for a demo, plus basic technical data that every website receives.
  • We use it to reply to you, run the service you sign up for, and keep it secure.
  • We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Your LinkedIn password is never collected or stored by BDR HOUND.AI.

Information we collect on this website

Information you give us

When you request a demo, we collect your name, work email, company, the calendar platform you use, and a description of who you want meetings with. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our web server receives your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. Our hosting provider keeps these server logs for security and troubleshooting. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. We don’t use advertising trackers. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies this site can set.

Information we process when you use the service

Customers who sign up for BDR HOUND.AI connect it to their own accounts. Depending on how a customer configures the service, we process:

  • Calendar data. Free and busy times and the events BDR HOUND.AI creates, accessed through the customer’s authorization with Google Calendar or Microsoft 365. The customer can revoke that access at any time from their calendar provider’s settings.
  • Prospect and conversation data. Professional profile details of prospects and the messages exchanged with them, used to qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the customer.
  • Activity records. A log of the actions the service takes on the customer’s behalf, so the customer can review, pause or stop it.
  • Account data. The customer’s name, email, company and billing contact.

The service runs on the customer’s own computer, inside the customer’s own signed-in session, using the operating system’s accessibility features. It does not ask for, collect or store the customer’s LinkedIn password.

When we process prospect data for a customer, we act on that customer’s instructions. Prospects who want their information removed can contact us and we will work with the relevant customer to honor the request.

How we use information

  • To respond to demo requests and questions.
  • To provide, maintain and improve the service, including qualifying opportunities and booking meetings.
  • To secure the website and service and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To send service and account messages. We send marketing email only where the law allows, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We share personal information only in these cases:

  • Service providers who host the website, deliver email, store data or process payments for us, under contracts that limit their use of it to the services they provide.
  • Calendar providers such as Google and Microsoft, when the service creates or reads events on a customer’s behalf.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or BDR HOUND.AI.
  • Business transfers, if BDR HOUND.AI is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We’ll tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. We keep customer data for as long as the account is active and delete or de-identify it within 90 days after the account closes, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls limited to staff who need access, and logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t do either).

To make a request, email Anna.Aufseeser@BDRHound.ai. We’ll verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed there. Where the law requires, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for transfers out of the EEA and UK.

Children

This website and service are for businesses and aren’t directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll give notice on this site or by email before it takes effect.
